Short video on how to knit a scarf. There seems to be a lot of confusion as to exactly what this video bout. This video is not meant to show you exactly how to knit a specific scarf or specific knitting technique. This video is just basic information. Pick any yarn, needles, and a stitch pattern. Then choose a cast on, knit the scarf, and bind off. This is a 'jumping off point' video, meaning you should already have a grasp on the basics of knitting.
For all those concerned about the sped up portion of the video, it was done for multiple reasons. First, there is a time limit on uploaded videos. I cannot post a video that is an hour + long. Second, I doubt anybody would sit and watch garter stitch for an hour +. The scarf knit in the video is simple garter stitch, for which I have a separate video for. It was either cut portions of the video out, or speed it up. I chose the latter.
